Job Summary
Manual labourers required for new construction site on a contractual basis. You will need to be physically fit and strong. Must be hard workers as this is a physically demanding and strenuous role. You will be required to do various manual labour jobs such as erecting scaffolding, digging trenches, providing assistance to skilled tradesmen, assist with cleaning facilities, equipment and tools. Lifting, pulling and managing heavy equipment and objects.Very good hourly rate plus overtime
Requirements:
Able to handle basic hand tools such as shovels, hammer, saws and rakesAdhere to all Health & Safety regulationsAble to take instructions from skilled tradesmen, foreman and supervisorsBe flexible and able to work on different assignmentsGet on well with others, respectful, honest and reliableMust complete assigned tasks in a timely mannerDescription:Stock ControlDespatchRecord keeping and administrationSystem administrationAble to carry out all reasonable instructions from SupervisorPre loading inspection of vehicle for cleanliness and check slides closedLoading and Sealing of loadWeighing of vehicles axles to ensure legal complianceGeneral tasks i.e.Daily cleaning of weighbridge and loading areaGeneral housekeeping of loading facilityCompletion of bin stock documentationPrepared to work shifts, weekends and public holidaysClean criminal recordSkills and Knowledge:Computer literateBasic excelWarehouse management systems.
