Job Summary
Duties:
- Answer all calls professionally and redirect as necessary.
- Welcome patients warmly and assist with any queries.
- Verify and update patient information.
- Open new patient files, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Process payments, issue receipts and assist with billing.
- Book consultations and follow-ups efficiently.
- Proficient in record-keeping and maintaining confidential patient data.
- Stock control and office duties may be required.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
- Grade12
- Experience as administrator/receptionist in a medical practice will be advantageous.
- Must be able to work Shift Work and Public Holidays
