Job Summary
Key
Responsibilities:
Internal Controls: • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies. General Ledger: • Submit necessary information for accruals. Audits and Year-End Processes: • Prepare ledger balances and initial trial balance, including reconciliations and supporting documentation for balance sheet accounts. Banking: • Process weekly bank transfers for creditors and wages. Cash Management: • Provide weekly payment forecasts to assist with cash flow projections. Creditors: • Prepare credit applications. • Reconcile creditors’ balances to statements and resolve discrepancies. • Prepare and process creditor payments. • Distribute remittance advice to suppliers. General Administration: • Coordinate meetings, minor events, and travel arrangements (flights, hotels, transfers, car hire, etc.). Continuous Improvement: • Identify areas for process improvement and suggest enhancements. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
• Grade 12 qualification • Diploma or degree in Financial Management or a related field Experience: • Minimum of 2 years` experience in a similar role, preferably within the automotive industry
