Job Summary
The Stores Assistant will be responsible for the following and will report directly to the Production Manager: Stores Duties Maintain good housekeeping Packing of stock in the stores Maintain stock levels in the stores and reporting of low stock levels Assisting suppliers when receiving stock Issuing of floor stock and handles according to factory demand Reporting any stock / handle defects Stock take and stock control Follow-up on any discrepancies from suppliers Duties as required by the Production Manager Adhering to safe practices within store environment
Minimum
Requirements:
Grade 12 coupled with 3-5 years Stores Manufacturing Experience. Computer Literacy SYSPRO, Windows and Email. Stock take experience. Numeracy skills Stress Tolerance Ability to work in a pressurized environment. Overtime will be required from time to time.
