Job Summary
Summary: The role will have a focus on DC operations, systems and facility infrastructure The incumbent will be exposed to various aspects of the company`s supply chain, including Outbound Shipping, Distribution Centres, Transport and Stores One would have the opportunity to diagnose problems, identify solutions, propose improvements and execute action plans Attractive to those who enjoy being immersed in operations and solve problems which will have a direct and measurable impact on the business. Responsibilities:
Development of business cases Leading supply chain projects Identifying and driving continuous improvement initiatives Mapping and development of supply chain processes Provide systems support and training Develop business processes to enable optimal business and system integration Liaise with various role players and departments to provide supply chain support
Requirements:
Bachelors in Industrial Engineering Min 5 years experience as an Industrial Engineer, preferably in a warehouse environment Project Management experience (advantageous) Retail knowledge and exposure (advantageous) Experience in Lean or Six Sigma methodology (advantageous) Advanced level of computer skills, especially MS Excel or Google Sheets Willingness to travel
