Job Summary

This position is responsible for building and leading a new Compliance and CRM Systems department to support the compliance, customer relationship management, and operational needs of our expanding real estate platform.

You will develop strategies, processes, and teams necessary to ensure regulatory compliance, seamless CRM system integration, and efficient operations to enhance user experience and platform optimization.

In this role, you will lead the recruitment and onboarding of compliance and CRM specialists, design workflows for regulatory adherence and system performance, and establish protocols to ensure continuous system improvement based on user feedback and performance data. You will also foster a collaborative, innovative, and compliance-focused team environment, supporting team growth through mentorship and professional development.

Key ResponsibilitiesDepartment Establishment:

  • Develop and implement strategies to establish the Compliance and CRM Systems department for the real estate platform.
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and workflows to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and seamless onboarding of real estate agents.
  • Lead recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of compliance officers and CRM specialists.

Compliance Management:

  • Oversee the compliance function to ensure the platform adheres to all relevant regulations and legal standards.
  • Design and implement processes for monitoring and reporting on compliance issues.
  • Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams to update policies and procedures as needed.

CRM System Integration and Management:

  • Manage the implementation and optimization of the CRM system to enhance user experience and data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop and execute procedures for troubleshooting CRM issues, training users, and improving platform usability.
  • Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to implement CRM system enhancements and address feature requests.

Operations Management:

  • Develop and optimize operational workflows to support compliance and CRM system performance.

Team Leadership and Development:

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Compliance, Customer Relationship Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in compliance management, CRM systems, or related fields, preferably in real estate or financial sectors.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing and developing teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of South African real estate regulations and market dynamics is an advantage.
