As a Senior Mechanical Engineer specialising in Fire Engineering, you will lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of fire safety systems for commercial buildings within the built environment. Key responsibilities include developing compliant fire protection plans, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring designs align with safety regulations and best practices. You will collaborate closely with clients and multidisciplinary project teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions that enhance safety and functionality in commercial building projects.
Job experience and Skills Required:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fire engineering within the commercial building environment.
- BEng, BSc, or BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Must be professionally registered with ECSA.
- Strong knowledge of fire safety codes, risk assessments, and fire protection system design.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills for working with clients and project teams.
