Requirements:

- South African resident
- CATHSSETA NQF4 Site Guide qualification
- VPDA qualified
- ETDP Assessor (Advantageous)
- SASSETA Rifle Proficiency (PFTC)
- Valid Drivers licence and PrDP
- Valid First Aid
- DEAT Registered
- SAPS Competency
- Extensive 4×4 Driving experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal people skills as a strong example and mentor for students
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Extensive and recent experience in the guiding industry (minimum 5 years – luxury lodge-based guiding and Head Guide Experience)
- Excellent presentation skills
- Reliable with excellent organisational skills
- Pro-active, self-motivated, and flexible
- Ability to work independently, but a strong team player
- Good computer skills
- Previous teaching and management experience
Key Focus Area:
In this dynamic role, you will travel to lodges across the country, collaborating closely with Head Guides, Lodge Managers, and General Managers to elevate the guiding departments. Your work will focus on:
Developing and implementing SOPs
Enhancing hospitality standards
Cultivating a strong and cohesive guiding culture
This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact to influence the guiding industry nationwide.
Salary:
Between R25 000 – R40 000 (depending on experience)
Medical aid contribution, contributions to industry related membership renewals and development training
Also included uniform, accommodation and meals when on duty
