? ?? ??????????? ??????????? is currently assisting a new luxury safari lodge in the Eastern Cape, to recruit a skilled and hands-on ????????? ??????????? ??????? to join their pre-opening team. As the Assistant Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of a new luxury safari lodge, working closely with the Maintenance Manager, youll ensure that all lodge infrastructure, utilities, and systems are well maintained and operating efficiently. This hands-on position will involve a variety of responsibilities from electrical, refrigeration, and plumbing work to general building upkeep, fence maintenance, and assisting with pre-opening preparations. Its a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team from the ground up and contribute to creating a world-class guest experience in the beautiful Eastern Cape. Requirements & Experience Proven experience in electrical, refrigeration, plumbing and air conditioning maintenance. Strong background in general building maintenance, including lodge infrastructure, guest rooms, staff housing, and operational facilities. Experience in fence maintenance and basic security systems. Practical knowledge of water systems, including boreholes, pumps, and filtration units. Ability to assist with preventative maintenance schedules, record keeping, and reporting. Hands-on; proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Knowledge of power tools, tool maintenance, keeping inventories of tools and materials. Previous experience in a hospitality or safari lodge environment will be highly advantageous. Good communication skills and a positive, solution-focused attitude.
