Job Summary
What You’ll Be Driving:
Product Strategy & Development:
- Develop and execute the overall insurance product strategy in alignment with the company`s goals.
- Identify market opportunities and create innovative insurance products to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Continuously evaluate product performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all insurance products comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Stay abreast of changes in regulations and adjust product offerings accordingly.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and maintain strong relationships.
Market Analysis & Competitive Positioning:
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Develop pricing strategies that balance profitability and market competitiveness.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to position products effectively.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and key stakeholders to align product objectives with business goals.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis and product performance.
Operational Efficiency:
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, ensuring operational excellence and efficient processes.
- Develop and implement policies, guidelines, and frameworks to streamline product management.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor key performance indicators and drive product enhancements.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the insurance product team to foster innovation and continuous improvement.
- Encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional development within the team.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor`s degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or a related field; a Master`s degree is an advantage.
- Professional certifications in insurance (e.g., ACII, CPCU) are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in insurance product development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of insurance market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and risk management principles.
- Proven track record of developing and launching successful insurance products.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities, with experience working cross-functionally.
