Duties and ResponsibilitiesOverseeing the daily operations of the shop including ordering stock and managing inventory levelsEnsuring an adequate stock level of products to meet the clients demand and sales forecasts Meeting sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to store staffEnsuring high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service Meeting, establishing and maintaining good relationships with potential wholesale customersFinding new target markets and attracting new Customers while retaining old customers Assisting customers with their purchases and answering any questions they may have about products or services offeredServing customers wines by the bottle and by the glass Planning and implementing marketing activitiesDeveloping and managing social media platforms Organizing events such as wine tastings, wine pairing dinners, wine festivals, happy hour and other promotional activitiesMaking sure that all store employees follow company policies regarding pricing, stocking, and customer serviceTraining new employees on store policies and proceduresEnsuring that products are stored in a way that maintains their quality and preserves them from spoilageEnsuring that all equipment is working properly Overall day to day administration and financial reportingOverall budgeting responsibility for the shop Ensuring compliance with local laws, regulations and licensing
