• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineer or equivalent
• Trade Test will be accepted if experience is relevant to mill industry
• Contracts or Projects Management Certification

Requirements

• Minimum 3 – 5 years’ technical expertise in SAG, AG and Ball Mill assemblies, alignment and commissioning principals.
• Experience serving as a professional Site Representative responsible for ensuring that all construction, mechanical, and structural installation work is carried out to the required standards, specifications, and statutory regulations.
• Quality control – Ability to interpret technical drawings, QCP’s and OEM standards.
• Compliance Management – quality, safety and environmental compliance management.
• Reporting and documentation – Skilled in inspection, audit and progress reports.
• Prepared to travel within the borders of South Africa and into neighbouring countries.

Duties

• Provide site-level oversight, technical verification, compliance management, and quality assurance for all SAG, AG, and Ball Mill installations, refurbishments, and commissioning activities, working closely with Company Management and Site Personnel.
