AUTOMOTIVE/MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY Qualification(s) Matric Certificate Toolmaker Certification Experience 3 years relevant experience as a Toolmaker Experience of working to tight production targets At least 3-Years experience on Injection moulding a must. Automotive Component and Glass handling General and Task Attend breakdowns, identify fault and problem solve at the press with minimal downtime to aid production Repair and maintain press tools, die repairs Estimate length of time required to complete a job and likely consequences of failure to complete work within required timescales Manufacture new tooling and ancillary spares to support production activity and customer deadlines document and update die history and other work records Root causes Tooling buyoffs and trials
