About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our 5 Star Boutique Hotel in Ballito. With a strong culinary background and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences, you will play a critical role in supporting our Executive Chef in managing the kitchen operations. A 5 Star Boutique hotel/Game Lodge background is essential, and we are looking for someone with 4 years of experience in a similar position.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage kitchen operations under the guidance of the Executive Chef
- Plan and prepare menus to meet the culinary vision and standards of our hotel
- Supervise and train junior staff members to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Implement food safety and hygiene protocols to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and quality control
Requirements
- 4 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a similar position
- Culinary diploma required
- Proven track record of success in managing kitchen operations and leading teams
