Executive Sous Chef Luxury Lodge | Bela Bela Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Executive Sous Chef for a luxury lodge in Bela Bela. This live-in role offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing kitchen team while ensuring exceptional culinary standards and memorable guest dining experiences. Requirements: Proven 5-star kitchen experience in a luxury hospitality environment Strong knowledge of all kitchen sections and culinary techniques Experience leading, mentoring, and developing a kitchen team Excellent understanding of health, safety, and food hygiene practices Sound decision-making skills and the ability to work independently Strong time management, organisational, and communication skills Ability to work under pressure and maintain high-quality standards Key Responsibilities: Oversee and supervise kitchen staff as required Actively cook and train the team on menus and techniques Assist the Executive Chef with menu planning, stock control, and supply management Ensure all food produced is of exceptional quality, taste, and presentation Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all workstations in compliance with food safety standards Support and uphold all kitchen systems, standards, and service protocols Assist in managing daily kitchen operations and workflow Foster teamwork and a positive working environment among all kitchen personnel Contribute to staff development through training, feedback, and performance management Package: Salary: R23,000 R25,000 per month (Negotiable, dependent on experience) Accommodation: Live-in provided To apply for the Executive Sous Chef position, please send your updated CV, reference letters, qualifications, and a recent head & shoulders photo to Simone@ Apply Below.
