About the Role
Hire Resolve, a world-leading withholding tax recovery company, is seeking a dynamic and energetic Technical Product Owner to join our team. As a self-motivated individual with a solid work ethic, you will be responsible for defining product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, while collaborating with teams and adhering to corporate policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities
- Lead Scrum teams and nurture an Agile culture
- Manage and prioritise the product backlog (Jira), run daily standups, and manage sprint planning
- Take the lead on developing detailed product feature specifications
- Research new feature requirements, tech specifications, and manage the UX/UI process
- Act as the product ambassador, providing demos and training
- Engage with business leaders to translate business requirements into a technical agenda for development
- Manage internal and external development teams to ensure timely and quality delivery
- Run design sessions and proofs of concept to determine the best technical solutions
- Actively mitigate roadblocks to successful sprint/release goals
- Provide regular progress, risk, and bottleneck reporting to the steering committee
- Design, develop, and implement test plans and participate in UAT testing
- Monitor emerging tools, technologies, and methods that could benefit the WTax business
Requirements
- Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology Science/Engineering/Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
- Core Competencies: Strong competency in business process design and analysis, with practical experience in design/re-engineering
- Skills: Proven (technology) project management experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to see and present the “big picture” and offer improvement solutions
- Agile Experience: Scrum/Agile training and practical experience
- System Knowledge: Experience with configuring CRM/ERP systems, with Salesforce experience highly preferred
- Technology: Familiarity with modern cloud technology, SaaS products, low code platforms, and working knowledge of IT systems fundamentals (e.g., databases, integration patterns)
