About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Debtors Clerk to join our team in Bellville. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our debtors accounts, processing applications, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing daily banking procedures for end of day
- Accounting for all C.O.Ds daily
- Verifying all cheques and deposits in the cash book and reconcile to debtor statements
- Monitoring debtors accounts daily
- Assist with any queries on accounts
- Processing of debtor applications
- Collecting of all due and overdue debt
- Scanning and filing of delivery notes
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification (advantageous)
- Proven experience in debtors administration, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level preferred)
- Experience using Pastel (or similar accounting system)
