Job Summary
FRUIT ACCOUNTANT (BELLVILLE)
Our client, an internationally recognised grower, packer and exporter of citrus fruit and table grapes, is looking for a detail-orientated and deadline driven Fruit Accountant to join their fruit accounting team, at their Head office in Bellville.
REQUIREMENTS:
Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification.
Minimum of 5 years experience in fruit or cost accounting.
Proficient in MS Excel and accounting/export systems.
Strond administrative, decision-making and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in consignment accounting, cost chains and Incoterms are preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Setting up and managing consignment accounts for the companys international operations.
Gathering and analysing relevant consignment sales and cost data.
Calculating final consignment results and processing payments to produce suppliers.
Recording consignment transactions in financial reports.
Reconciling financial performance metrics.
