Job Summary
- Grade 12 with Maths as a subject
- Relevant qualification highly advantageous / Diploma in Administration or a similar field.
- At least 5 years relevant working experience.
- Own reliable transport.
- Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint proficient.
- Knowledge of project planning software, and MS projects.
- Bilingual in Afrikaans and English preferable.
- Familiarity with engineering concepts and manufacturing processes is beneficial to understanding the terminology and requirements of the engineering team.
- Strong organisational skills and detail oriented and assertive.
- Numerical reasoning and arithmetic skills.
- Relevant qualification in technical discipline and/or project management.
- Communication and / or any administration training.
- Technical subjects obtained in High School.
- Strong interest in the Technical/Project management environment.
DUTIES
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple tasks and engineering projects at once.
- Maintain and organize engineering documents, including design drawings, specifications, technical reports and project plans.
- Compile meeting minutes and correspondence.
- Daily report updating and effective cross function collaboration.
- Ensure all feedback reports are compiled accordingly.
- Making presentations with confidence.
- Structuring information in a logical manner to facilitate the understanding of the intended parties involved.
- Daily supplier and customer collaboration.
- Establishing effective relationships with customers and staff, networking effectively within and outside of the organization.
- Ensure engineering standards are adhered to.
- Assist with resource allocation, scheduling and coordination.
- Budget monitoring.
- Setting clear objectives, planning activities well in advance and managing time effectively.
- Demonstrate interest in others, work effectively in teams, build team spirit and show care and consideration for individuals.
