Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of mining operations, including drilling, blasting, hauling, and processing activities, to achieve production targets within budget and timeline.Optimize mine planning, scheduling, and sequencing to maximize resource utilization and productivity. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production, efficiency, and cost performance, and take corrective actions as necessary. 3. Represent the mine in meetings, negotiations, and public forums as required. Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related field (advanced degree preferred). Extensive experience in underground gold mining operations, with a minimum of 10 years in progressively responsible roles. Proven track record of successfully managing mining operations, including production planning, cost control, and safety management. In-depth knowledge of relevant mining laws, regulations, and industry best practices. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels. Sound financial acumen and experience in budgeting and cost management. Proficient in using mining software and technology for mine planning and optimization.
