Benoni: Accountant – Reporting

Minimum requirements: Bachelors Degree in Accounting / Finance (BCom Accounting or equivalent). Completed Articles (SAICA / SAIPA) preferred. Strong Excel and ERP systems experience (SAP experience advantageous). Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly. Personality Traits: Analytical, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset. Duties and responsibilities: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and group consolidation. Analyse financial results, variances, and trends, providing insights and recommendations. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Ensure compliance with IFRS and company accounting policies. Support the external audit process by preparing audit files and responding to auditor queries. Maintain the integrity of financial data within the ERP system and ensure reconciliations are up to date. Draft statutory financial statements and ensure timely submissions. Liaise with group finance and provide required reporting packs. Contribute to process improvement initiatives in the reporting function.
