About the Role

We are a boutique audit and accounting practice in Benoni, seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Personal Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our firm by managing administrative tasks, coordinating with clients, and providing technical finance assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare calendars, manage inbox, and coordinate client interactions
  • Complete documents, forms, simple reconciliations, and perform light research
  • Assist with first-draft templates and perform small operational tasks to keep the firm moving

Requirements

  • BCom (or equivalent training) preferred
  • Exposure to direct and indirect tax (e.g., VAT, PAYE, income tax packs)
  • Hands-on experience with Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks
  • Strong Excel and Word skills (lookups, pivots; clean formatting)
  • Clear written and verbal communication
