About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing and Sales Assistant to join our team as a remote worker. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for acquiring new business leads, managing existing client relationships, and driving revenue growth through effective marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire necessary information about prospects’ companies, markets, industries, and current marketing efforts to prepare suitable telephone pitches.
- Coordinate calendars, schedule appointments, and confirm details with both parties.
- Follow up with prospects to remind them and confirm upcoming appointments.
- Handle rescheduling of appointments if necessary.
- Keep up-to-date progress notes on the Excel report system.
- Contact prospective clients who have been unable to be contacted.
- Conduct follow-ups once a month.
- Respond to enquiries submitted by prospects immediately.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a marketing consultant/manager/intern.
- Excellent written, verbal, and telephone communication skills (English and home language).
- Outstanding listening skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent phone etiquette.
- A professional and courteous disposition.
- Persuasive and results-oriented.
- Efficient time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Matric or higher education required.
