Job Summary
Join a dedicated team as an Authorizations Clerk specializing in Oncology! Our client is seeking a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in practice and hospital settings. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that patients receive timely and accurate authorizations for their oncology treatments.

Minimum
Requirements:
- Matric
- Minimum of 3 years` experience in a practice or hospital background
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office, Mededi, ICON and SAOC
Skills required:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong listening skills
- Telephone etiquette
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in an independent environment
- Proficient and professional
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Keep abreast of amendments to scheme rules, benefit options and/or protocols
- Strong attention to detail
- Task orientated
- Numerical and administrative skills
- Assertiveness
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and time management
- Problem-solving and crisis management skills
Duties and responsibilities:
- Process oncology claims
- Attend to and resolve enquiries
- Obtain authorisation for treatment
- Process invoices
Remuneration:
R 23 333,33 CTC per month + 13th Cheque
Work hours:
Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00
Fridays: 08:00 – 13:00 (with no lunch)
