About the Role
Join our team as a Quality Controller at Taiwan Golden Tree Group in Bloemfontein, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met for our products. As a Quality Controller, you will be responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process products, and finished packaging to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished packaging to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Conduct visual inspections for defects such as colour variation, printing errors, misalignment, damage, contamination, or incorrect labelling
- Verify product specifications including size, weight, print quality, sealing, and packaging integrity
- Record inspection results accurately and complete quality control documentation
- Identify non-conforming products and ensure they are segregated and reported
- Work closely with production teams to correct quality issues and prevent recurrence
- Perform spot checks during all shifts as required
- Assist with root cause analysis of quality defects and support corrective actions
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a quality control role within manufacturing (packaging or printing environment preferred)
- Good visual acuity with the ability to identify colour and print differences
- Basic understanding of quality standards and inspection procedures
