About the Role

The Chief Financial Officer will play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth, capital allocation, and financial performance for our organization. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise in finance, deal-making, and commercial acumen to shape the future of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CEO on strategy, growth, and capital allocation
  • Oversee cash flow, funding, and financial performance
  • Ensure appropriate levels of governance, reporting, and control
  • Lead financial assessment of property investments across acquisitions, developments, and disposals
  • Build and interrogate financial models to evaluate returns, risks, and funding structures
  • Influence deal outcomes by challenging assumptions and shaping decision making
  • Engage with a large network (90) of brokers and dealmakers
  • Introduce consistency and structure into how deals are evaluated and approved

Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant (SA) / CA(SA) with 5 years of progressive post article experience
  • Financial modelling and analysis capabilities
  • Comfortable engaging with strong personalities
  • Advanced Excel (non-negotiable)
  • Genuine commercial acumen
  • Ability to influence outcomes, not just report on them

Chartered Accountant (SA) / CA(SA)

Salary & Benefits

R 1 500 000 – R 1 600 000 per annum incentives
