Job Summary

Key Responsibilities: Process and file financial data accurately using Pastel. Reconcile entries and internal ledgers regularly. Ensure timely completion of month-end closing procedures. Make Pastel adjustments as requested by management. Gather bank statements, expense proofs, and other necessary documents for financial reporting. Handle VAT returns and assist with audits. Reconcile the general ledger and sub-ledgers monthly. Maintain accurate financial records up to trial balance. Obtain all invoices and proof before finalizing VAT to ensure accuracy (incorrect information impacts financial statements). Perform VAT turnover reconciliation, ensuring all facts are correct, highlighting differences, attaching supporting documentation, and providing valid reasons for differences.
