About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team in George. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing payroll for approximately 30-40 companies and ±500 employees per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process payroll for multiple clients
- Ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries to employees
- Maintain compliance with payroll legislation and statutory requirements
- Utilize Sage VIP Professional software to streamline payroll processes
- Provide excellent administrative support to the team
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a Payroll Administrator role within an Accounting Firm
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Qualifications
- Relevant payroll or HR qualification (advantageous)
