Job Description

Our client is seeking a motivated, professional, and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join their dynamic team in Bloemfontein . This role is ideal for someone with a passion for sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients. As a Sales Consultant with our client, you will play a key role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer service. If you are target-driven, professional in your approach, and enjoy engaging with customers, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Minimum requirements: Matric Minimum of 3 years’ sales experience Fluent in Afrikaans and English Computer literate Professional and presentable Willing to work retail hours, including Sundays (rotation basis) Craftsmanship or hands-on ability Duties and responsibilities: Build, develop, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their individual needs and providing personalised, professional solutions Actively identify and generate new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, client referrals, and follow-ups Present and demonstrate products professionally, showcasing features, benefits, and value while tailoring the approach to each client’s preferences Provide accurate and transparent product information, pricing, and terms, ensuring clients are fully informed and confident in their purchase decisions Consistently achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets through proactive engagement and effective closing techniques Manage the full sales cycle from initial client enquiry to closing the sale, including preparing detailed quotations, proposals, and contracts Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all client interactions, sales activities, and follow-ups within the CRM system Manage client queries, complaints, and after-sales service efficiently, maintaining a high level of professionalism and client satisfaction Stay informed on product knowledge, industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to provide expert advice and guidance to clients Collaborate closely with the marketing and operations teams to support promotions, campaigns, and special events Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events, presenting a professional image and promoting the brand effectively Provide timely and insightful feedback to management on client preferences, market trends, and potential business opportunities to support strategic planning Employment Type: 3 month contract (will be reviewed after the 3 months) Remuneration: R9 000 basic per month IMPORTANT: Applications close 24 December 2025 If you did not receive feedback within 14 days, you application is unsuccessful Only applications submitted via the Ditto Jobs platform will be considered Only candidates who meet all our client’s minimum requirements will be contacted
