About the Role
Talent Fox SA is seeking an experienced and solutions-driven Pallet Controller to support continuous operational flow, ensure pallet compliance, and safeguard valuable assets across the inbound/outbound environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for controlling and documenting pallet movements, capturing and maintaining accurate records on the CHEP system, and ensuring buffer stock availability for operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Control and document pallet movements (issue, return & recover outstanding pallets)
- Capture and maintain accurate records on the CHEP system
- Ensure buffer stock availability for operational continuity
- Download, analyse and verify CHEP reports
- Conduct monthly physical pallet counts and variance reconciliation
- Support process improvements around pallet optimisation
- Report non-conforming pallets and ensure compliance with Food Safety & HSE
- Resolve pallet disputes and queries with customers
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams for pallet recoveries
- Provide administrative support when required by Warehouse Manager
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 with Mathematics
- 35 years experience as a CHEP Pallet Controller (Essential)
- Intermediate MS Office & Excel knowledge
- Strong knowledge of pallet control principles
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Skilled in stock control, problem-solving & conflict resolution
- Process improvement mindset & ability to work under pressure
Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12 with Mathematics
