Requirements
- – Product range development using technical skills for bakery, confectionary, bread and baked goods
- – Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to assess product quality.
- – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- – Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality control standards in the baking industry.
- – Experience in baking cakes, cupcakes, sourdough bread, rye bread etc.
- – Ability to bake artisan breads from “scratch” and develop new ranges in line with retail stores needs and requirements
Duties
- Upgrade and develop new innovative, cost effective & factory orientated products.
- Help drive & initiate profitable growth of allocated categories through innovative product development and upgrades.
- Identifying GAPS and new opportunities to grow the business.
- Collaborate with production staff to implement efficient baking techniques and practices.
- Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements to enhance product offerings.
- Ad hoc duties that are required by the business from time to time
