• – Degree or diploma in Food Science, Baking, Culinary Arts, Confectionary and/or a similar.
• – Proven experience in a baking environment with a focus on recipe development.
• – HACCP

Requirements

• – Product range development using technical skills for bakery, confectionary, bread and baked goods  
• – Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to assess product quality.
• – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
• – Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality control standards in the baking industry.
• – Experience in baking cakes, cupcakes, sourdough bread, rye bread etc.
• – Ability to bake artisan breads from “scratch” and develop new ranges in line with retail stores needs and requirements

• Upgrade and develop new innovative, cost effective & factory orientated products.
• Help drive & initiate profitable growth of allocated categories through innovative product development and upgrades.
• Identifying GAPS and new opportunities to grow the business.
• Collaborate with production staff to implement efficient baking techniques and practices.

• Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements to enhance product offerings.
• Ad hoc duties that are required by the business from time to time
