Job Summary
We are seeking a well experienced IR professional to join our team in an underground mining environment.
The position will be based on site at Burgersfort, Limpopo.
The ideal candidate must have the following:
- 10 years working experience as a IR Professional in the mining environment or a similar unionized environment.
- 10 years of experience in disciplinary action which include the chairing, facilitating and drafting of all documentations associated with disciplinary actions and disciplinary hearings, CCMA representation up to and including arbitration and working with unions and shop stewards.
- Attending union meetings, working with recognition agreements and the handling of protective and unprotective strikes.
- Facilitate and maintain a good working relationship with unions and union officials.
- Monitor internal labour relations matters and reporting on these matters.
- Previous implementation of Employment Equity will be an added advantage.
- Previous experience in the chairing of Employment Equity committee`s will be an added advantage.
- Willing to work in a high-pressure mining environment.
- Willing to travel when needed.
The candidate must have:
- Grade 12
- Tertiary qualifications in HR/IR/Legal.
- Must have a driver`s license.
- Must be medically fit to obtain a red ticket medical.
- Sepedi speaking and understanding will be an added advantage.
- Must reside in Burgersfort area or be willing to relocate.
