MECHANICAL FITTERS REQUIRED – RED SEAL CERTIFIEDDescriptionOur Client based in Caledon, requires Mechanical Fitters, red seal qualified. Your experience should include previous experience preferably be in the grain industry (BOKOMO etc) on conveyor belts, gearboxes, bucket elevators, screw and rotary valves, pumps, loss-in-weight feeds and cleaning machines. You will be required to do maintenance work on the above, changing bearings, rollers,couplings etc.. You will be required to do rigging work and working at heights. You should have a minimum of 5 years post-apprenticeship experience. This is a contract for 1 month at a time, 5 days a week with no overtime or Sunday work at this stage. Further extension of the contract will be determined by the Client. Your toolbox should include; a combination of spanners, screwdrivers, pliers and hammers. The Client will supply specialised pullers and odd size spanners and pneumatic impact wrenches.Competitive Rates. All overtime to be determined by the Client and is not guaranteed. This is a 5 day work week.
