Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Waste Control Division currently has a vacancy for a motivated, professional and organized Asset Tracker to join their team. The position requires an efficient individual who is able to work in a fast paced environment and to meet strict deadlines.

Duties and responsibilities includes but are not limited to:

Tracking and monitoring the movement of waste and scrap bins using excel spread sheets
Accurately produce bin reconciliation reports daily, weekly and monthly reporting
Accurately Identifying and assessing damaged bins
Coordinating the repairs of damaged bins
Advising buying and operations of bin availability
Tracking and recovering of lost bins
Assist with ad-hoc duties in the transport department as and when required
Will be required to travel to customer premises to check on slow moving bins and provide feedback to Sales Reps

QUALIFYING CRITERIA:

Grade 12 or equivalent
Computer literacy essential ( Microsoft office) create and maintain excel spreadsheets, communicate with email, compile reports and present data in tabulated form
Experience working in a Transport orientated division and environment will be an added advantage
Valid Code 08 license with own reliable transport

QUALIFYING ATTRIBUTES:

Ability to work with a sense of urgency and multi-task in an pressurized environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attendance to detail and accuracy
Be self-motivated and results driven
Logical and detail orientated methodologies
