Job Summary
Requirements:
- Academic Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Engineering (MSc Eng) with a focus on Structural or Civil Engineering.
- Professional Registration: Registered as a Professional Engineer (PrEng) with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of post-graduate experience in bridge and structural engineering.
- Skills:
- Expertise in advanced structural design and analysis.
- Proficiency in advanced Structural Design software.
- Strong project management and leadership capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and analysis of complex bridge structures using advanced structural engineering principles and tools.
- Oversee project management, including planning, budgeting, and execution, ensuring alignment with client and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions on time and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, ECSA guidelines, and relevant safety regulations.
