Cape Town City Centre: Air Imports Clerk – Cape Town

Experience Minimum 2 years industry experience in imports and forwarding. Strong knowledge of import processes, forwarding procedures, and documentation. Ship Shape system experience advantageous. Familiarity with airline surcharges, commodity add‑ons, and consolidation rates. Ability to liaise directly with origin offices for ad hoc rates. Skills & Competencies Strong mathematical aptitude for accurate quotations and cost calculations. Good geographical knowledge to support routing and logistics decisions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Ability to manage invoicing, data entry, and resolve discrepancies. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Problem identification and resolution skills. Deadline‑driven with proven ability to meet targets efficiently.
