About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Storeman to manage and control site stores on an active construction project in the Durbanville / Phisantekraal area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring accurate stock control and inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full management of construction site stores
  • Receiving, issuing and recording of materials and tools
  • Maintaining accurate stock control and inventory records
  • Conducting regular stock counts and reconciling variances
  • Ensuring proper storage, security and housekeeping of materials
  • Liaising with site management, suppliers and subcontractors
  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures and site safety requirements

Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12) compulsory
  • Trade Certificate or RPL essential
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Store Clerk / Construction Storeman
  • Proven experience working on construction sites
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail

  • Matric (Grade 12)
