Snr Facilities Manager, Retail (Cape Town) Leading Property company seeks proactive property professional. Key role to optimise life span for portfolio of Shopping Centres in Cape Town. Responsibilities:

Manage multiple strategic functions for the Retail portfolio. Develop sustainable preventative maintenance plans for the Shopping Centres and implement accordingly. Provide technical and operational support to Portfolio, Centre and Operations Managers. Ensure compliance. Conduct inspections and liaise with tenants. Compile and manage OPEX and Capex budgets. Proactively manage life cycle of all assets in portfolio and maintenance planning. Monitor installations plus take-on and take-back inspections. Project manage refurbishments, redevelopments, redecorations of buildings. Manage staff activities and deliverables. Share relevant information with the team and provide support. Issue orders and process invoices. Write re Manage client-landlord relationship and respond to queries timeously. Effectively manage service providers and ensure efficient and cost-effective service Conduct building inspection and optimise performance of buildings. (eg green initiatives). Monitor, investigate recoveries on all utilities. Attend meetings. Put procedures in place to mitigate risks and ensure buildings are compliant. Other key duties to be discussed at interview stage. Qualifications and Experience BSc in Construction or Facilities Mgt degree. 10 to 12 years exp in Facilities Mgt in Retail Properties.
