Cape Town City Centre: Customer Service Consultant – Exports
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Consultant to join our team in Cape Town’s city centre. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support in the exports department.
Key Responsibilities:
Capture sales orders accurately and efficiently
Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly
Provide weekly updates on shipment tracking and status
Liaise with freight forwarders to ensure smooth shipping processes
Demonstrate expertise in Incoterms knowledge and Customs declarations
Requirements:
A tertiary qualification is required for this role
Practical experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in exports or a related field
Proficiency in SAD500 and understanding of export processes are essential
Experience with requesting shipping estimates, booking shipments with freight forwarders, and Incoterms is highly desirable
