About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our luxury lodge in Cape Town City Centre. As an Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards. You will also be responsible for managing a team of housekeepers and providing training and support as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily housekeeping operations
- Conduct room inspections and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Oversee linen, laundry, and public area maintenance
- Ensure seamless guest experiences through efficient room preparation and turnover
- Collaborate with the General Manager to implement new policies and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as Executive/Head Housekeeper in a resort, cruise ship, or lodge/hotel setting
- Proven track record of successfully managing housekeeping operations and leading teams
- Strong SOP-driven approach to housekeeping operations
- Experience with Opera PMS is an added advantage
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field (not specified)
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive salary: USD 1,000 – 1,500 per month
