Job Description

This opportunity is with a well-established organisation operating at scale within a digitally enabled retail and eCommerce environment. The business places strong emphasis on financial control, system integrity, and continuous improvement across its finance and technology platforms. In this role, you will act as the key interface between finance stakeholders and IT delivery teams, ensuring that financial systems, integrations, and business processes support accurate reporting, compliance, and strategic decision-making. Youll gain exposure to enterprise-level finance systems, eCommerce transaction flows, and system integrations while playing a pivotal role in shaping finance processes that support a growing digital business. Duties: Analyse, define, and manage finance system change requests from business stakeholders Translate finance and business process requirements into functional and system specifications Provide effective and timely support on finance systems, processes, and technology activities Coordinate and support quality assurance, testing, and defect resolution Develop and maintain detailed business analysis and system documentation Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder engagements to build system knowledge Support ongoing finance system operations, including incident and resolution management Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: Relevant Degree or Higher National Diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Analysis, Computer Science, Management Science, or similar Experience: Proven experience within a finance environment Exposure to financial systems and end-to-end finance processes Experience with business processes flowing into journal entries and financial reporting Business Analyst experience, including system analysis, process design, and workshop facilitation Experience supporting finance systems, including incident and problem management Exposure to testing coordination and quality assurance activities Skills: Intermediate to advanced MS Office proficiency Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies Knowledge of BABOK and PMBOK principles System integration exposure (ERP and non-ERP environments) Process mapping and modelling tools (e.g. Draw.io or similar) Strong analytical, planning, prioritisation, and communication skills Non-negotiables: Finance systems and process exposure Ability to work onsite in Cape Town (Kuilsriver area) Strong attention to detail and risk awareness Understanding of data protection and governance principles Apply now!
