Job Specification Ensuring the accuracy of the Independent Review work for which you are responsible, to report to and help the Assurance Directors provide excellent client service Completing engagements within budget and deadlines, which may include work outside of normal business hours Effective management of administrative responsibilities Relationship development and management with key clients Form part of an Independent Review team Assist in Independent Review engagements from the planning of an Independent Review engagement through to the clearing of the queries and finalisation of the Independent Review engagement Attend any meetings related to Independent Review engagements for which you are allocated Assist in training employees more junior to you in relation to the Independent Review work Tracking your own budget and time spent on assignments, as well as the budgets and time spent of any employees reporting to you on an engagement Ensuring that your planning board, and time recording system is a true reflection of your activities Liaising with clients Any administration requested by an Assurance Director, Senior Manager, Manager, or Associate that is related to the performance of an Independent Review function, or the functioning of the Independent Review department Minimum Requirements Candidate must be JHB or CPT-based – as in office role Must have completed SAICA articles Minimum requirement is a BCom degree PGDA / CTA will be considered an advantage Must have working knowledge of IFRS and IFRS for SMEs Proficient with CaseWare and MS Excel Kindly note that by submitting your application for this career opportunity you agree that Guardian Recruiting may use your application for the purpose of the recruitment and selection of the said position and this information may be shared with the relevant stakeholders in the business.
