As a Junior Designer & Brand Support, you will play a pivotal role in our company’s ecosystem. Bold yet thorough, you will bring ideas to the table that you will constantly refine to help us better engage with our customers & shoppers. We are looking for a candidate to bring their passion and knowledge to our team. You will ensure that brand content is to the highest standard and used to maximum effect across a wide range of online & Bricks & Mortar channels. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Trade Marketing • Design and Update Assets: Develop, maintain, and create limited edition pack-aging, VAPS (Value-Added Pack Solutions), and visual merchandising assets for trade-specific campaigns such as Festive Season Gifting, Mother’s Day GWP’s (Gifts with Purchase), and new product launches. • Website Management: Update images and maintain the visual integrity of our trade websites. • Planograms: Refresh and update planograms and planoguides tailored to differ-ent channels, accounts, and stores. • Digital Asset Creation: Design all digital marketing materials for third-party online platforms including banners, pop-outs, solus mailers, and more. • Brand Consistency: Adhere strictly to Corporate Identity (CI) guidelines, ensuring all marketing collateral upholds brand standards. • Design Adaptation: Work with brand feedback to adapt designs while maintaining the brand’s ethos. • Collaboration with Brand Team: Partner with our brand team to translate brand vision into effective packaging and visual merchandising. • Presentation Preparation: Prepare and compile materials for trade-related meetings and presentations. • Deadline Management: Coordinate with the Trade Marketing Manager to ensure all project deadlines are met. • Asset Management: Maintain an organized folder of all marketing collateral for easy access and reference. • Trade Visits: Accompany the Trade Marketing Manager and Key Accounts on store visits to gather insights and build a library of best practices for the company to adapt or adopt. Brand Support 1. Assist in the design and production of marketing materials, including but not limited to email, flyers, digital ads, social media graphics, and website elements. 2. Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm concepts and ideas for projects. 3. Support Design & Brand Associate with layout, typography, and colour theory to ensure brand consistency. 4. Collaborate with marketing and content teams to develop engaging assets for campaigns, promotions, and product launches. 5. Participate in the development of mood boards and style guides. 6. Edit and retouch images, videos, etc., ensuring high-quality visuals for all platforms. 7. Assist in maintaining and organising design files, templates, and brand assets. 8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to bring fresh ideas to the team. 9. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative solutions to design challenges. 10. Perform other design-related tasks as needed. 11. Work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. 12. Work closely with the Design & Brand Associate to refine skills, gain experience, and grow within the role. Essential Requirements: • Experience in and solid understanding of Graphic Design • Strong analytical and quantitative skills including the ability to use customer research and metrics to back up intuition and assess the efficacy of campaigns • High bias for taking end-to-end ownership of responsibilities, flexibility, and exceptional communication skills • Brand or key accounts experience would be an advantage, • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends, as necessary.
