About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations General Manager to lead our team in the Cape Town City Centre hub. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all logistic hub operations, ensuring efficient, safe, consistent service delivery, and driving business growth through operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct & oversee all logistic hub operations ensuring efficient, safe, consistent service delivery
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement practical, scalable solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders as well as the franchisor, ensuring service excellence and customer satisfaction
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives
- Apply a data-driven approach to forecasting, capacity planning, and customer growth initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree – Operations, Business Administration/Management, or a related field
- 5 years experience in a Senior Operations or General Management role within a large, Logistics complex organisation
- Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and P&L ownership
- Background in Logistics, Operations, or Large-scale Enterprise environments preferred
Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 5 years of senior operations or general management experience
