Cape Town City Centre: Manager: Collections Strategy

Key Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of forward-thinking collections strategies across the full lifecycle. Build, test, and optimise models that boost portfolio performance and drive profitability. Partner with BI and data teams to automate reporting, dashboards, and analytics. Create and monitor monthly targets, forecasting, and collections scorecards. Introduce champion/challenger models to continually improve performance through “test and learn.” Guide operations with data-driven insights that enhance recovery rates and reduce cost-to-collect. Drive system and process improvements that support business strategy. Job Experience and Skills Required Relevant degree (Honours preferred) in Maths, Stats, Economics, Actuarial Science, Finance, or Engineering. Minimum 5 years experience in a similar collections or credit risk strategy role. Proven ability to lead, manage, and innovate within a fast-paced environment. Strong technical background in SQL, R, Python, AWS, and advanced Excel. Financial services or banking industry experience is highly advantageous.
