Were looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to manage and maintain all aspects of payroll administration for our client. This role supports both the Finance and HR teams and ensures accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees. What Youll Do Manage employee records: load, transfer, and terminate staff on payroll systems. Monitor and correct time and attendance data. Guide new staff on payslips, overtime, and termination pay. Share benefit information and update third-party portals. Ensure managers approve hours worked and leave on time. Send pay registers for approval and submit salary reviews for processing. Upload payslips and run payroll schedules. Process payments for terminated staff and compile necessary documentation. Reconcile monthly EMP201s and third-party transactions. Submit UIF files and medical reconciliations. Prepare month-end reports and general ledger files. Handle tax reconciliations and release IRP5s. Perform monthly leave reconciliations and flag absenteeism trends. Submit injury-on-duty claims. Respond to payroll and leave queries from staff and management. Support Finance and leadership with payroll-related queries. Compile and share the monthly birthday list. Implement and maintain payroll procedures. Assist with HR tasks when needed.
