Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (Plumbing Industry) – Cape Town City Centre

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s team in Cape Town. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers stability and growth opportunities within the plumbing industry.
Minimum Requirements:
Diploma in Quantity Surveying
5 years’ experience in the plumbing industry
Valid driver’s licence
Proven proficiency in quantity surveying software for estimating and progress claims/valuations
Strong understanding of the N/S JBCC contract agreement
Solid knowledge of plumbing reticulation design and installation methods
Key Responsibilities:
Compile monthly cost reports to ensure accurate financial management of allocated projects.
Prepare monthly progress claims, including valuations and supporting documentation.
Manage variation costings and obtain necessary approvals in a timely manner.
Estimate new projects, including Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and take-offs, to ensure accurate costing.
Oversee job costs and reporting using Buildsmart software.
Conduct site measures and report on monthly valuations to provide valuable insights to the project team.
