About the Role
PBT Group is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to support delivery teams by designing, implementing, and optimising CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes in a hybrid cloud environment. The successful candidate will operate across multiple platforms including Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions (planned migration), AWS, Kubernetes, and on-premise infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Support and contribute to the planned migration from Azure DevOps to GitHub Actions
- Manage and optimise build, release, and deployment workflows across multiple environments
- Implement infrastructure automation and deployment strategies for AWS, Kubernetes, and on-prem servers
- Ensure DevOps best practices for security, monitoring, reliability, and scalability
- Troubleshoot pipeline, deployment, and environment-related issues
- Collaborate with engineering, platform, and infrastructure teams to improve delivery efficiency
- Drive continuous improvement of DevOps processes, tooling, and patterns
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps
- Practical experience or exposure to GitHub Actions
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles, patterns, and automation practices
- Experience deploying and supporting workloads in AWS environments
- Experience with Kubernetes (containerised deployments, orchestration, troubleshooting)
- Experience working with hybrid environments, including on-premise infrastructure
- Scripting / automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, or similar)
