Job Summary

REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric, relevant qualification.
  • Proven working experience in merchandising administration
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening, presentation and decision-making skills
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to understand customer requirements
  • Own vehicle and driver’s license essential

DUTIES

  • Manage the merchandising administration balancing customers’ expectations and company’s objectives
  • Manage and adhere to timelines for all orders
  • Inputting of data on inhouse system
  • Managing ordering of samples, sample schedules and delivery schedules.
  • Managing all purchase orders.
  • Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts for pricing, stock and time expectations.
  • Ongoing communication and liaison. with Factories in China, Pakistan and India.
  • Forecasting
  • Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc
  • Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners
  • Remain up to date with industry’s best practices
  • Continual follow up with clients from beginning to end of the process following the time frames and understand the urgency of requirements.
  • Organising of ticketing
  • Deal with changes that occur, get involved in problem solving and sorting out extension requests.

Salary:

R 22 000 negotiable dependent on experience
