About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Compliance Officer with a strong background in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) to join their team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing AML reporting requirements for the Group and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the FIC Reporting requirements for Group.
  • Ensure regulatory reports are submitted via go AML as required.
  • Facilitate the AML Forum for the Group.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience working in a compliance environment.
  • 3+ years experience in an AML role within the insurance industry or financial services industry.
  • Registered as a Member with the CISA and FSCA Regulatory Exam (RE1).

Qualifications

  • BCom Law / LLB
  • Professional Compliance Designations i.e., AML CPRAC(SA) or CPRAC(SA)
